Vivienne Westwood
In the early 1970s a rather remarkable young lady from Derbyshire arrived on the London fashion scene with her partner Malcolm McLaren and friends who where right at the beginnings of the punk era.
Vivienne Westwood had then her first shop on London fashionable Kings Road. Her brand of outrageous, fun quirky and undeniably British style gathered a cult following, and over the years, Vivienne has consistently set the bar of British fashion when it comes to beautiful and extreme fashion.
She is without a doubt one of the most lauded and respected British fashion designers in Britain today and considered by many to be the Queen of the Fashion. She has also won the coveted British Fashion designer of the year award three times and was bestowed the title "Dame" Vivienne Westwood by Prince Charles in 2006.
