Liberty has to be one of the most famous department stores in the world and has such a strong identity linked to London that it even is known to have a recognisable print named after it.
Liberty was open to the public on the 15th of May 1875 by Arthur Lasenby Liberty and has been a key destination for anyone visiting London ever since and is recognisable for its Tudor architecture which stands out against the surrounding buildings.
Liberty was famous for creating intricate designs and prints, which adorned dress fabrics, and silk scarves and we have chosen a few for you to enjoy touch of modern luxury from a well-established heritage brand from England.
Liberty’s designs were at the forefront of the Art nouveau movement and in Italy Art Nouveau actually became known as the Stile Liberty after the London store.
