Stephen Jones Anna P. Muslin Union Jack Top Hat
Wear a Museum's piece...
Create a real stir with Stephen Jones’ wild creation. Made from muslin, this patriotic topper marries an Union Jack emblazoned top hat and co-ordinated corsage to amazing effect.
This Union Jack top hat was named Anna P. after Anna Piaggi, one of milliner Stephen Jones's most well known clients. An Italian fashion editor (and an Anglophile at heart) Piaggi is fond of wearing the British flag in various forms.
This cutting edge Stephen Jones top hat showcases the excitement and exuberance of the designer’s designs wonderfully. If any hat is crying out to be worn at The Grand National, this is it!
Colour: Royal Blue, Red, White
Wear it like a head band. The elastic should go behind all your hair and at back of the head.
Size: H 13 x W 20 cm
LEARN MORE ABOUT THIS HAT:
The Union Jack has been a recurring theme in Jones's work. The hat was the central motif for the V&A exhibition 'Hats An Anthology by Stephen Jones' (Feb-May 2009) and was illustrated by Lawrence mynott for the cover of the accompanying catalogue. The exhibition also featured a film of Deborah Miller (then head of Stephen Jones workroom) making an Anna P. hat.
