Tamielle
Tamar Kovner is a most remarkable woman. She created her unique inspirational brand called Tamielle, which is a global handkerchief club.
Tamar is British and is inspired by beautiful nostalgic finds from here and quaint curiosity shops the world. She designs the little pocket squares herself and has them hand embroidered by disadvantaged women from all around the world giving them a much needed extra income.
In days gone by, small circles of women would sit and embroider beautiful handkerchiefs, cushions and scented pillows and was a place for them to share stories and personal experiences. Tamielle has brought all that back and each delicate little handkerchief is embroidered with the name of the lady who made it.
They are the most exquisite little gifts for everyone from the blushing bride to the proud grandfather on seeing his first grandchild enter the world.
