Lock & Co. one of the world's oldest and finest Hatters that been around for over 300 years based in the historical area of St James’s in London. This area is considered the corridor of power in London due to its close proximity to the Houses of Parliament and the Palace.
It was established in 1676 by James Lock and has remained in the family ever since.
This remarkable shop for centuries has seen the great and good pass through its doors since the time when King Charles the Second was on the throne to today. They are undoubtedly the most experienced and have the most incredible standards of workmanship in the land. It is been said that a very happy client from abroad once wrote them a ‘thank you’ postcard and addressed it “to the best Hatters in the world, London”, as he had forgotten the actual address of the shop, and Royal Mail still delivered it straight to Lock & Co!
