Chantal Coady, the brains behind Rococo, first opened her shop in Kings Road twenty-seven years ago, in 1983 and her quest for real chocolate, quirky designs and sense of humour would challenge the way we see our favourite edible treats. She called her company Rococo Chocolates.
 
Chantal was artistic by nature and having graduated from studying Textile design at Camberwell college of Arts she went on to do a MSC small business course. She opened her first shop on the Kings Road and now has three shops in the most fashionable areas on London, the flagship store being in Belgravia’s Motcomb Street.
 
Chantal has written three books on chocolate and won a coveted Chocolate Academy Award for ‘Changing The Way People Think About Chocolate’ in 2008.
 
Rococo is known for its eclectic, eccentric and always exquisite chocolates. Some of the chocolate are lovingly hand painted with cocoa butter and edible pigments, and finished with a porcelain-like gloss.
 
Rococo has a truly British style and its chocolate-mould inspired packaging in blue and white makes their already exquisite chocolates all the more covetable and prized.
